Overview
Kitesurfing, as with other sports, has its own specific language in order to allow us to describe things both quickly and simply. A common language makes it easy for communication between riders, instructors and pupils, and when buying equipment.
In this chapter, we’ll run through the kites, boards, and accessories that you will need to become familiar with as a beginner and beyond. Along with the terminology associated with them.
We’ll give you some general advice on kites and board that maybe suitable for beginners.
Finally, we’ll introduce you to the wind window and powerzone. Two fundamental areas that will be referred continually throughout this movie and every aspect of your kitesurfing progression.
